About a day

I was out of town recently for a little refueling. A transfusion of the bluegrass blood if you will.

That’s my bandmate Jim Helmetzi on the left, dear friend and fellow Kentuckian Phillip Hartsock in the middle, and bluegrass recording artist, Merrell Boggs on the right. (Merrell and Phillip are second cousins. Phillip invited me and Jim to join him for the visit for obvious reasons.)

And of course there was a backyard garden.

With hardscape features.

I'm always amazed when a guitarist can keep up with a banjo, let alone two of them! Wonderful jam session. You guys could knock the socks off any competition. Great looking garden spot, artifacts and all. (My WV is "addlepin." Gotta look that up. Maybe it keeps the old brain intact.)

Love your pair of "foo doggies". Garden art that arises from true love is never goofy. I shoulda known you were into bluegrass music. Good stuff.

Skeeter: Thanks for listening. Bein from Tennessee, I bet you clog too. Ms. Marnie: They're way bigger than mine too!Mr. Anonymous: Maybe I should post something about you more often. Maybe you'd stop by on a regular basis then. ;~PMs. Terri: We had a wonderful time! The gazing ball is not attached, it's just sitting there. I wondered the same thing after I took the picture and investigated further.

Sounds like you had a great time. I wish I were musically inclined. And who doesn't love a garden? Do you suppose that gazing ball is attached to that concrete support with "paist" or is it just sitting there? "_

Skeeter, I was caught up in th moment and forgot about even having clothes on, I coulda been naked and wouldnta known. P.S. To see more of these guys "linefork", go to my youtube and search "phartsock65" and view all my videos of them.Good Stuff!!

Ah, my blood feels a bit blue after hearing that wonderful jam session! I thought you folks in KY went barefoot. Whats with the socks on Phillip? Now remember, I am from TN so I can ask these kinds of questions. I have the same doggie holding lantern in my garden! Good choice…
